Beveled Glass

Beveled glass is usually made by taking thick glass and creating an angled surface cut (bevel) around the entire periphery. Bevels act as prisms in sunlight creating an interesting color diffraction which both highlights the glass work and provides a spectrum of colors which would ordinarily be absent in clear float glass.

Glass Films

Glass Film is a polyester film generally made of PET, Polyethylene Teraphthalate, the same polymer used to manufacture water bottles. Most films are applied to the interior surface of a glass window in a home, commercial building or car. They have a scratch resistant coating on the outer surface to protect the film.

Bend Glass

Bend Glass: is made via heating flat glass until soft, carefully formed to the desired shape, and then annealed by controlled cooling to minimize trapped energy within the glass. The resulting bent annealed product offers un-enhanced strength and the stability of minimized internal stresses

Insulating Glass

Insulating glass units improve the thermal performance, thus significantly reducing heating and air-conditioning costs. IG units also reduce probability of condensation formation on the surface of the glass. IGU can be a combination of Low-E coatings, tinted glasses, reflective coatings, silk-screened patterns, laminated glass products and more. IG units can be designed to reduce heat loss & solar heat gain and reduce thermal heat gain entering the building, with a minimal reduction of visible light transmittance.

Laminated Glass

Laminated glass is a safety and security glass that is made by sandwiching a laminated sheet between two pieces of glass. The laminated sheet is usually polyvinyl butryl (PVB) sheet. The PVB sheet in the middle of the glass helps in sticking the glass pieces to it when the glass is broken. The laminated glass is designed to prevent it from shattering into pieces and thus ensures safety.

Toughened Glass

Toughened glass is glass that has undergone processes of controlled thermal treatment to increase its strength. It is four times stronger than normal annealed glass. It is called safety glass because when it breaks, it shatters into small.Toughened glass is made from annealed glass that has been heated to approximately 650C and then rapidly cooled. Due to the increased heat treatment and rapid cooling of the glass, especially between the surface and the inside of the glass, the treatment produces different physical properties. This results in compressive stress on the surface and improved bending strength of glass.
